Guidelines for Donors and Use of Contributions

1. Introduction
By donating to the Bet El Trust (Registered Charity No.288712), donors agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Donations are used to support the charity’s objectives and activities, as outlined in its governing documents.

2. Donation Acceptance
All donations are voluntary and non-refundable, unless agreed otherwise in writing due to exceptional circumstances. The Bet El Trust reserves the right to decline donations that do not comply with its ethical policies or legal requirements.

3. Use of Funds
Donations will be allocated at the Bet El Trust’s discretion to projects and services aligned with its mission, unless the donor specifies a particular purpose which the charity agrees to honour. Restricted donations must be clearly identified at the time of payment.

4. Receipts and Records
Upon receipt of your donation, the Bet El Trust will provide a confirmation and, where applicable, a receipt for tax purposes. Donor details will be kept confidential in accordance with data protection laws.

5. Payment Methods
Donations may be made by bank transfer, debit or credit card, or other approved payment methods. The donor is responsible for ensuring that funds are transferred securely and correctly.

6. Tax and Gift Aid
Eligible donors may opt to enhance their donation through Gift Aid, subject to HMRC guidelines. It is the donor’s responsibility to confirm their eligibility for tax relief or Gift Aid.

7. Amendments
The Bet El Trust reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be published on the charity’s official website and take immediate effect unless stated otherwise.
