Invitation to the 2026 Kabbalah Summer School at the Ammerdown Retreat Centre
We warmly invite you to join us at the Ammerdown Retreat Centre in Somerset for this year’s summer school. Surrounded by picturesque grounds, this was where Z’ev ben Shimon Halevi (Warren Kenton) held two of his inaugural summer schools in the 1980s.
Much has changed since then, but the Teaching continues, giving us a firm foundation from which to grow and develop, while also unfolding and adapting to the conditions and needs of the times.
Our aim is to create a setting that fosters reflection, engaging dialogue, and shared inquiry into life, all guided by the wisdom of the Toledano Tradition of Kabbalah.
In 2015, Warren Kenton entrusted Joanna and Kurt with the continuation of summer school. We remain dedicated to passing on the updated teachings of the Toledano Tradition, with special emphasis on the Tree of Life and Jacob’s Ladder.
THE COURSE
Whether you’re new to the experience or a long-time member of the school, this course welcomes everyone. Bring your questions, curiosity, and an open heart. Over four days, you’ll explore the teachings through slide presentations, guided imagery, meditation, and meaningful rituals—each designed to help you embody the principles in a personal way. Enjoy restful afternoon breaks for conversation, peaceful walks, or quiet contemplation amidst the serene beauty of Ammerdown’s grounds.
THE PATTERN OF THE DAY
Breakfast: 8.00 am – Session 1: 9.30–11.00 am
Coffee: 11.00–11.30 am – Session 2: 11.30–12.45 pm
Lunch: 1.00 pm – Afternoon Free
Tea: 4.00 pm – Session 3: 4.30–6.30 pm
Supper: 6.30 pm – Session 4: 8.00–9.15 pm
Arrival Tuesday, 1st Sept: Room access from 2.00 pm. Tea @ 4.00 pm. Supper @ 6.30 pm.
First Evening Session @ 8.00 pm. Departure Friday, 4th Sept after lunch.
